What it is

When a problem has several operations, do them in the correct order so everyone gets the same answer.

Why it matters

A shared order of operations means everyone gets the same answer. It's the grammar of algebra and essential before working with variables.

How to do it

  1. Do anything inside Brackets first.
  2. Then Multiply and Divide, working left to right.
  3. Then Add and Subtract, working left to right.

  • Advanced(15 - 4) × 13 =143
