About Mathter

Mathter started as a reaction to the sites we were already using to find worksheets. They were so busy with links, ads, and pop-ups that finding the actual PDF felt like the hardest part, and once you did find it, it was the same static worksheet every other visitor had already downloaded. Here you pick a skill and grade, and a fresh pack generates in seconds. Nothing to dig through to get there.

No AI writes the math

Mathter itself was built with the help of AI coding tools, and there's no reason to hide that. But no AI writes the math you see on a worksheet. Every skill runs on hard-coded, deterministic logic: real code that computes a real answer, not a model guessing at one. Before a new skill goes live, it's evaluated and checked by hand for accuracy. After that, every worksheet for that skill runs through that exact same code, so it stays accurate on the thousandth sheet, not just the first. Each pack also draws from a growing pool of different problem structures for that skill, grade, and difficulty — so you're not stuck seeing the same handful of problems reshuffled. That pool keeps expanding as more skills get the same variety treatment the earlier ones already have.

Who's behind it

I'm a father of three, and math has been a real struggle in our house, for my kids and, it turns out, for me too. One of my children was diagnosed with dyscalculia, and before we understood what was going on, it was frustrating for both of us. I started building worksheets that actually matched where each of my kids was, not just their grade but the specific skill and difficulty. Along the way I ended up relearning parts of math I never really understood myself, right alongside them.
