I requested a password reset but the email didn't arrive.

Check junk / spam first, and in Gmail also the Promotions tab -- the email comes from [email protected]. Reset links are single-use and expire, so always click the most recent one. If it still doesn't come through, email [email protected].

How does Mathter work?

Pick a skill and grade (most skills also let you set a difficulty), choose how many problems and pages you want, and Mathter builds a printable worksheet pack as a PDF, with a matching answer key. Every pack is freshly generated and built to avoid repeats. Print it, or share the PDF.

Can I install Mathter like an app?

Yes, Mathter installs on phones, tablets, and computers with its own icon, and opens full-screen with no browser bar around it. It's the same site, so nothing to download from a store and nothing extra to keep updated.

• iPhone / iPad (Safari): tap the Share icon, scroll down, then tap “Add to Home Screen.”
• Android (Chrome): tap the ⋮ menu, then tap “Install app” (some versions show this as “Add to Home screen”).
• Windows (Chrome or Edge): click the install icon at the right edge of the address bar, then click Install.
• Mac (Chrome or Edge): same as Windows: the install icon sits in the address bar.
• Mac (Safari, macOS Sonoma or later): click the Share button and choose “Add to Dock,” or use File → “Add to Dock.”

Can I customize a pack beyond skill and grade?

Yes, the Studio's Customization section has the full set: a custom title, your own shop or school name on every page and your logo on the cover (both Premium), a cover page and a step-by-step lesson page (both Standard and up), how many problems fit per page, how many worksheets are in the pack, and whether answer keys are included.

A few skills unlock more: a timed drill mode for the four fact skills, diagrams for geometry topics, blank graph paper for graphing topics, and step-by-step worked-solution answer keys. Customization only shows the options that actually apply to whatever skill and grade you've picked.

Can I use Mathter from Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant?

Yes. Make an API key under Account, then connect it to Claude Desktop, Cursor or Claude Code with the Mathter MCP server, or call the API from ChatGPT Actions or your own scripts. Your assistant can then build a pack and hand you the PDF.

Packs made this way use your own plan, credits and limits, exactly like the Studio. A plain chat window with no tools connected can't do it. Setup steps are on the AI agents page.

How do I add my logo to my worksheets?

On Premium, go to Account and upload your logo under Your branding. It prints on the cover page of every pack, and your shop, school or program name appears on every worksheet in its place.

Accepted formats are PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 2MB. SVG isn't supported. The logo only prints on the cover. A worksheet header is 44 pixels tall, where a square logo would land at 44×44 and any wording inside it would be unreadable, so those carry your shop/school/program name instead. Uploading a new logo replaces the old one; there's no separate step to update it elsewhere.

What grades and skills does Mathter cover?

Kindergarten through Grade 12, across 66 skills, from telling the time and single-digit addition up to linear equations, trigonometry and calculus. Pick a grade in the designer and it shows you only the skills taught at that grade, so you can't accidentally build a pack that doesn't fit the class.

What's actually inside a pack?

On every plan, including the free one:

• Worksheets: freshly generated questions, not a fixed template.
• An answer key for every worksheet.
• Worked solutions, showing the steps rather than just the answer.

On Standard and Premium a pack also opens with:

• A cover page, so it reads as a booklet rather than loose sheets.
• A lesson page: the rule, worked examples, common mistakes and the words to know.

It arrives as one PDF, ready to print. The sample packs above show both.

What can I do on the free plan?

You can create and download worksheet packs to try Mathter out. Every pack you generate uses 1 credit. Standard adds more credits, styles, cover pages, and lesson pages; Premium unlocks 150 credits every month, all six styles, and full branding. You can compare on the home page and upgrade anytime from your account.

What's the difference between Basic, Standard, and Premium?

Every plan generates the same code-checked worksheets and answer keys. The paid tiers add credits, more styles, bigger packs, cover pages, lesson pages, and branding:

• Basic (free): 2 credits every month, the Friendly Modern style, up to 2 worksheets per pack, and answer keys. No cover page or lesson page.
• Standard: 50 credits every month, three styles (Modern, Classic, and Notebook), up to 10 worksheets per pack, cover pages, lesson pages, and answer keys.
• Premium: 150 credits every month, all six styles, up to 25 worksheets per pack, cover pages, lesson pages, answer keys, and custom branding: your logo on the cover of every pack, your shop, school, or program name on every worksheet, and no Mathter credit.

Updated September 16, 2026: Standard's maximum pack size changed to 10 worksheets (previously 20), following Premium's change to 25 (previously 40) on September 14 — a large pack with worked solutions on could otherwise run past 150 printed pages.

Answer keys and step-by-step worked solutions are included on every plan, and all ten colours are always available. Compare on the home page and upgrade anytime from your account.

See for yourself. These are real packs, generated by Mathter, watermarked as samples. Both contain the same Grade 6 fractions, so the only differences are what the plan adds:

• Standard sample pack (PDF): cover page, lesson page, three worksheets and their answer keys, in the Classic style.
• Premium sample pack (PDF): the same, in a Premium-only style, with a school's name on every page and no Mathter credit.

There is no Basic sample because you don't need one: the free plan lets you generate your own, right now, without a card.

How do credits work?

One credit is one generated pack, no matter how many worksheets are in it. Credits refresh every month: Basic gets 2, Standard 50, and Premium 150. Basic refreshes on a rolling 30-day cycle from signup; Standard and Premium refresh on your subscription's billing date. Previewing your full pack in the Studio is free — flip through every page and regenerate as many times as you like; a credit is only used when you download it. Updated September 14, 2026: Basic's monthly credits changed from 5 to 2.

What happens when I run out of credits before they refresh?

Downloading is paused until your credits reset — you'll see exactly when that is (for example, “resets in 12 days”) along with an option to upgrade for more right away. Nothing is lost: you can still preview packs for free, and every pack you have already downloaded stays in your account. Basic's 2 credits a month go quickly if you generate often — Standard and Premium give you a lot more room.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Creating a free account starts 14 days of Standard, automatically. No card, nothing to cancel.

The clock starts the moment you sign up, not when you make your first pack, so it's worth diving in right away. One trial per account. When it ends, credits drop from 50 a month to Basic's 2 — everything you already made stays in your account, but redownloading the finished PDF again needs Standard or Premium.

What happens to my packs if I cancel, or when a trial ends?

Nothing is deleted. Your packs stay listed in your account no matter what plan you move to, or if a trial ends — Basic and Standard keep the same history. Standard and Premium can redownload the finished PDF any time; on Basic you can still see every pack you have made, but pulling the PDF back down needs an upgrade.

Do the worksheets come with answer keys?

Yes, every pack includes a matching answer key, and you can preview it before you download. Many skills also include a short “How to” teaching page you can turn on.

Can I use these in my classroom? Can I sell them?

Yes to both.

Anything you generate is yours: print it, hand it to your students, put it in a homeschool binder, use it in paid tutoring.

You can also sell the finished packs: on a marketplace, in a bundle, however you like. Two limits:

• Packs made on Basic or Standard carry a small Mathter.ca footer credit. Please leave it on. If you're selling and want the packs to be entirely your own, Premium removes it and puts your shop, school, or program name there instead.
• You can't resell access to Mathter itself. The packs are yours; the generator isn't.

What you've made stays yours. Downgrading or cancelling doesn't revoke the licence on packs you have already generated. Full wording in the terms.

Worth knowing if you sell printables: most worksheet sites forbid this outright, and one names Teachers Pay Teachers specifically. Can I get a refund?

Subscription payments are final and non-refundable, including partial billing periods and unused time. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. That is why the free plan exists and why the samples above are real packs: try it properly before you subscribe. Full wording in the terms.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Anytime, yourself, from Account → Manage billing. Cancelling stops future charges, but you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've already paid for — you are not cut off immediately. See our Refund policy for full details on charges and cancellations.

How do I delete my account?

From Account, under "Delete account" near the bottom of the page. Type your email to confirm and it's gone immediately, along with everything in it. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it first (Account → Manage billing) — deleting doesn't cancel billing for you, and we block the deletion until you do, so a subscription is never left running on a deleted account.
