Make math worksheets in Claude

If you already use Claude, you can ask it for a worksheet pack the way you would ask a colleague. Claude passes your request to Mathter, Mathter builds the PDF, and the file lands in your Downloads folder, ready to print.

What it looks like

You: Make me a Grade 4 fractions pack with answer keys. How many packs do I have left after that?

Claude: Done. I saved mathter-grade-4-fractions-2026-10-16-0915.pdf to your Downloads folder. You have 4 packs left this month.

Claude can also list every skill Mathter covers for a grade, so you can ask what's available before you choose.

No AI writes the math

Claude only fills in the order form: the skill, the grade, the difficulty. The problems and the answer key come from Mathter's own code, the same code behind every pack on mathter.ca, checked by hand before each skill goes live. So the answers are computed, not guessed, and a chatbot can't slip a wrong one into your answer key.

What it costs

Nothing extra. Packs made in Claude come from your plan, just like packs made on the site. Every plan works, including the free one. Each pack uses one from your monthly allowance, and Claude can tell you how many you have left.

What you need

Claude Desktop on a computer (Windows or Mac). Claude Code and Cursor work too.
Node.js 18 or newer, a free install from nodejs.org.
A Mathter account, on any plan.

It doesn't work in the Claude phone app or the claude.ai website yet.

Set it up once

On your Account page, create a key and press Copy MCP config. Your key is already inside it.
In Claude Desktop, open Settings, then Developer, then Edit Config. Paste it in, save, and fully quit and reopen Claude.
Ask Claude for a pack.
